The Trinity: Scriptures

Definition of the Trinity:

God eternally exists as three distinct persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and each person is fully God, and there is only one God.

The Father is God:

-       Philippians 1:2

-       Colossians 1:2

-       I Timothy 1:2

-       II Timothy 1:2

-       Titus 1:4

The Son, Jesus, is God:

-       1 John 5:20

-       Colossians 1:13,15

-       Titus 2:13

-       Titus 3:4

The Holy Spirit is God

-       Acts 5:3-4

-       II Corinthians 3:17-18

-       Psalm 139:7-8

-       John 3:5-7

-       I Corinthians 2:10-11

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all Distinct:

-       John 14:26

The Trinity in the Old Testament:
