Russell Cravens – Sagemont Church Teaching Pastor
Russell serves full time as one of the Teaching Pastors at Sagemont Church. Dr. John Morgan has entrusted to Russell the awesome responsibility of leading the AWAKEN community. Also, he helps lead the smaller community of college age adults. He has been married to Jeanie since they both graduated from Houston Baptist University in 1999. In addition to having a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Christian Studies, Russell is nearing completion of a Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He most enjoys spending time with Jeanie and his two beautiful children, but also finds time to enjoy reading, discovering new restaurants or coffee shops, and exercising. On occasion, Russell can be found cheering for any one of the professional sports teams in Houston.
Aric Harding – Sagemont Church Worship Leader
Aric has worked full time at Sagemont Church since January 2000. As a part of the Student Ministry staff, Aric’s responsibility as a talented musician has been to lead worship for hundreds of students every week. With the addition of AWAKEN, Aric will also be leading the music for the AWAKEN community. Aric grew up in a small town northeast of Houston, Dayton, and went on to attend Baylor University. He has been married to Glenna since December 2001. They have two children, Rylor Glen and Everett Cora.
